Dozens attended a ceremony renaming the Central Park Station Post Office to become the Indiana Hunt-Martin Post Office Building on Aug. 28, 2023.

Hunt-Martin served as part of the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion during World War II. The "Six Triple Eight" was the first predominately African American Women's Army Corps unit, and the only women's unit to serve in Europe during the war.
